Rate and Cost Increases Effective 1/1/2007.

2007 Medicare Rate Increases:

MEDICARE PART A:

Hospital Deductible:

$992 (up from $952)

Coinsurance per day:

Days 61-90: $248 (up from $238)
Days 91-150: $496 (up from $476)

60 lifetime reserve days Medicare pays 100%

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Coinsurance:

$124 per day for days 21-100

MEDICARE PART B:

Premium per month:

$93.50 (up from $88.50)

Deductible per year:

$131 (up from $124)

Community Spouse Resource Allowance (CSRA):

$101,640 (up from $99,540 in 2006)

Minimum Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance (MMMNA):

$2,541 (up from $2,489 in 2006)

$5,101
