An Introduction to Trusts and Medi Cal Planning in the Wake of Recovery Reform
This program is an entry-level introduction to trusts as seen by the Medi Cal program, designed to help the practitioner identify types of trusts and know how the State views them regarding Medi Cal eligibility. The program will provide pointers on how to plan with trusts and how the new recovery law treats trusts and other planning devices.
Presenter: Peter S. Stern is a private practitioner in Palo Alto, California. He holds a law degree from Stanford Law School and has served on the State Bar's Trusts and Estates executive committee and the California Judicial Council Advisory Committee on Probate and Mental Health.
