A. Long Term Care Medi-Cal: The Basics
This 2.5 hour MCLE special pre-conference
session will include an overview of long
term care; the Medi-Cal long term care
application process; share of cost; treatment
of income and assets; transfer of assets
rules; spousal impoverishment issues,
including court orders; options for treatment
of the home; and Medi-Cal recovery issues.
A must for those new to Medi-Cal and long
term care estate planning issues.
B. EADACPA Clinic—Sharpening the Tools**
The Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil
Protection Act: the latest on Medi-Cal and
Medicare liens, piercing the corporate veil,
care-giver fraud, standing, pleading, and an

The impact of the proposed federal law will also be discussed.
