After 40 years, CANHR’s founder and Executive Director retired in June. While Pat will stay on in an advisory capacity until the end of the year, she is looking forward to spending time with family and friends, and learning a language other than Medi-Cal and EADACPA. Pat wishes to express her great appreciation to the many consumers, families, advocates and attorneys who have worked with her through the years, and the many people who helped support CANHR in developing into the organization it is today.

Maura McGinnis Gibney will be taking over as Executive Director on July 1, 2023. Maura brings over 20 years of experience in program development, grant writing, community organizing and supervision to CANHR.
