AB 1467 (Bloom), which proposed to cut fines for smaller RCFEs that directly cause the death of a resident form $15,000 to $5,000, is no longer active and will be officially dead on January 16. We are pleased that the legislature is rejecting the sliding-scale approach to justice in AB 1467. Thanks to all the individuals and organizations that opposed the bill.
