Next Generation Dementia Care Symposium in Oxnard on March 7

CANHR is co-sponsoring “Building Relationships: The New Medicine for Treating Dementia” in Oxnard on March 7, 2013. The event will feature a keynote address from Dr. Jonathan Evans, the President-elect of the American Medical Directors Association and several training sessions presented by Ventura County-area long-term care providers to share their experiences in improving their own dementia care and reducing their reliance on harmful or unnecessary psychotropic drugs. CANHR Staff Attorney Anthony Chicotel will also be presenting at the symposium.
